Byron’s poem 'The Corsair' was first published by John Murray in 1814. Ten thousand copies were sold on the first day. 'The Corsair' is one of the six 'Oriental Tales' by Lord Byron.
Included here are manuscripts of the poem, with a draft of the dedication to Thomas Moore, fellow poet and friend of Byron.
