Scope and Contents
Christopher Kenneth Mylne was a writer, photographer, film-maker and naturalist. The papers and photographs here reflect his career. As well as a diary kept whilst watching the ospreys at Loch Garten, there are many typescripts for various articles published across his lifetime. There are also items relating to his acitivies making films, largely comprised of scripts.
Included in the archive are both photographic prints and slides. Most of the images here are of Scottish wildlife and landscapes, with a particular foucs on birds.
There are also three boxes of glass slides that were not created by Mylne, but owned by him. Again, most of the images relate to birds.
