‘Rob Roy’, a national drama based on the novel of Sir Walter Scott, consisting of annotated pages from the book, interleaved with plans of scenery and stage settings, as performed at the Theatre Royal Edinburgh.
The play was produced on the occasion of Sir Walter Scott’s centenary under the supervision of Mr and Mrs Wyndham.

Many of the poems used are periodical contributions by contemporary Aberdeenshire men and women, possibly known personally to John Davidson. Some are by Robert Burns and some are of unidentified authorship.
The songs are preceded (folio i) by a printed programme of a concert given in Lewis 1926 at which some of the songs in the collection were sung.
It is not known if the collection was intended for publication.
Scrap book containing envelopes addressed to the Countess of Lichfield., 1837-1840.
The scrap book is arranged in two roughly alphabetical series according to the name of the sender (folios 1-26, 30-73). Most of these envelopes are franked, but a few have the penny post stamp. There are numerous gaps where envelopes have been removed, and in some cases the name of the sender has been pencilled in. Some printed and manuscript items connected with the history of franking and of the penny post, found loose in the volume, have been inserted at folio 75.
