Sir William Forbes's discharge as James Boswell’s executor., Circa 1805.
The majority of the papers are correspondence between Forbes and various correspondents, notably his business partners James Hunter and Robert Herries. There are a small number of calling cards given to Forbes, and an account book used by both William Forbes and his son.
