Scope and Contents George Crabbe had a long career in the Church and he preached in many parishes. George Crabbe filled notebooks with poetry, ideas for sermons and observations on the natural world. Some have been used for just one purpose, but many are of mixed content. Some of the notebooks also include a variety of pressed flowers and some preserved insects.
