This portfolio contains 143 pages of typescript limericks with accompanying hand-drawn illustrations, as featured in Lucinda Mackay's self-published book, The Zoology Anthology: a jesty bestiary, published in 2015, using her pen name Naomi de Plume. The first 17 pages of a printer's proof of the book are also included, alongside two letters of correspondence from Lucinda Mackay to book designer Mark Blackadder (Edinburgh) in which the artist discusses supplying further illustrations and text. In addition, an annotated typescript copy of the artist's foreword is present, alongside an annotated working list of the limericks to be included in the book.
