Scope and Contents

The notes are mostly etymological. Chalmers in these volumes refers to his own foliation of Adv.MSS.3.1.1-3.1.6, which started afresh with each letter of the alphabet, and which, where there is more than one number, is that which is cancelled by a single pencil stroke.
