Letters, 1896-1912, of Julia Ady to John Murray IV and Hallam Murray. The letters concern her works published by the Murrays, including “Painters of Florence”, “Isabelle D’Este”, and an introduction to Italian art for the travel handbook to Rome. In a few letters Ady reports on manuscripts sent to her as a critical reader for the firm. The letters are arranged in chronological order.
