Letters, [1835]-1868, of Edmund Head to John Murray II and John Murray III. The letters mostly concern various publishing interests, including editing a work by Franz Kugler and the publication of Head’s “’Shall’ and ‘Will’; or, Two chapters on future auxiliary verbs”.

Head, Florence Julia.

Letters, 1883-1884, of Florence Head to John Murray III. They concern Florence Head`s efforts, on behalf of Lady Francis Lamb, to have published the papers of Sir James Burges [later, Lamb]. The papers were edited by James Hutton and published as “Selections from the letters and correspondence of Sir James Bland Burges, Bart., sometime Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs” (1885). “A home tour through the manufacturing districts of England, in the summer of 1835” (1836);

“A home tour through various parts of the United Kingdom. ... Also, Memoirs of an Assistant Commissary-General” (1837).
