They concern works of Wilkinson’s published by the Murrays, including “The topography of Thebes and general view of Egypt”, “Manners and customs of the Ancient Egyptians”, and “Dalmatia and Montenegro”, as well as discussion about writing a travel handbook for Egypt. There are also accounts of some of his travels. The letters are arranged in chronological order.
