Scope and Contents
The contents are as follows.
(i) Letters, 1894-1906, of Arthur F Borthwick chiefly to his brother Alfred, with several to his father. Arthur was a farm supply manager in Rhodesia and his letters discuss his life and work there. There are also some rough notes on farming in his hand. (Folio 3.)
(ii) Letters, 1921-1937, undated, of and to Albert W Borthwick, Professor of Forestry at Aberdeen University, together with notes, undated, on the 'Establishment of an experimental farm in Rhodesia', and several obituaries, 1937. (Folio 66.)
(iii) Unrelated letters, including a brief note of Sir George Reid to David Muirhead, 1891. (Folio 101.)
