(i) Papers, 1721-1725, concerning the attempted appointment of Patrick Haldane of Gleneagles as a judge of the Court of Session (folio 1);

(iii) ‘The alterations proposed to be made in the Criminall Law of Scotland*, undated (folio 111);

(iv) Memoranda, 1754, concerning the appointment of Thomas Hay of Huntingdon as a judge of the Court of Session (folio 117);

(v) Printed Act of Sederunt, 9 August 1754, concerning poindings and arrestments (folios 125);

(vi) Memorial, undated, concerning the Court of Justiciary (folio 128);

(vii) 'Memorial for Coll. Erskine of Carnock in the mutual appeals betwixt him & Mr. Blackwood of Pitrevy...' undated (folio 141);
