John Mackechnie, the Duke of Argyll, Charles Hepburn (from whom a loan of money was obtained) and legal agents, concerning the increasingly acrimonious negotiations over Mackechnie's edition of the Dewar Manuscripts, vol. 1. William MacLellan's company went into administration in 1969.
