The letters of John Hanson to Byron have been arranged chronologically, with those to Elizabeth Massingberd placed at the end of the sequence.
When first made available for consultation this volume of letters, before foliation, included a letter, 1820, of Richard Belgrave Hoppner to Lord Byron. This letter has been moved during cataloguing and is now located at MS.43448 ff.132-133.
