The proofs here all relate to publications concerning Lord Byron. The proofs have been placed in chronological order. Additional related material has been added to the end of the sequence.

Galley proofs headed ‘Byron – Letters V’ showing letters of Byron to Augusta Leigh, with annotations including some in the hand of Charlotte Carleton, Lady Dorchester, and later annotations of John Murray VI, 1890, undated: folios 1-8;

Proofs of ‘Lord Byron’s Correspondence: Vol I’, edited by John Murray IV, with some annotations, 1921. The contents includes chapters I-V. These proofs have been bound with string which has then be sealed: folios 9-162;

Manuscript copies of letters of Lord Byron to Augusta Leigh dated 1816 to 1820, undated: folios 163-180;

List in the hand of John Murray IV of letters of Lord Byron to Augusta Leigh and their location, undated: folio 181;

Press cutting from ‘The Times’ containing a review of ‘Lord Byon’s correspondence’, 1922: folio 182.
