Custodial History

The manuscript was given by Sir Walter Scott to William Watson, Writer to the Signet, who was apprentice to Andrew Storie, Writer to the Signet, agent for the Petitioners, and descended to his son, Deputy Surgeon-General Watson, and then to the General’s nephew, the donor.
