The Edinburgh People’s Festival (EPF) was founded in 2002 by Colin Fox as a ‘more accessible and inclusive cultural alternative’ to the Edinburgh International Festival. It presented a series of plays, lectures, concerts, pageants, ceilidhs, and art exhibitions in different venues around the city of Edinburgh in August and throughout the year until 2018.
