The choirbook consists of a number of printed pieces from various sources bound together.

A note, 1869, is at folio 13. Folios 1, 67 and 111, which are torn, have been patched and the missing portions supplied by hand.

Scope and Contents

The choirbook consists of a number of printed pieces from various sources bound together. Notes dated 1871 and 1912 are at folios 62 verso and 115. At folio ii is a note, 1973, by the donor recording the names of the trebles when the choir was disbanded following the death of the Duke of Buccleuch in 1914, and the circumstances of the recovery of the books.
