Each of the videocassettes has a label on it. There are also labels on both the card sleeve and the plastic outer container. The label on the plastic container has been used to provide the descriptions as it has, generally, fuller information.
Included is an account book, 1918-1922, of George Riddle, shoemaker, Rosehearty.

No completely logical arrangement of these books is possible, due to multiple use of the same book, to the existence of the same accounts in draft and final form, and to the fact that in his old age Lord Milton repeatedly revised and extracted old accounts. The basic division into ledgers and other books (subdivided by size) goes back to him. Most are in his own hand, a few (in whole or in part) in those of his clerks. Personal, estate, and professional matters are all included.

Volume originally owned by Edward Ellice of Invergarry (died 1863) and apparently originally used as an account book and subsequently to contain sketches, then turned over and used by Edward Charles Ellice of Invergarry to contain notes and memoranda relating to the estate of Glengarry for the years 1814 to 1912., ?1818-1912.
The volume contains sheets watermarked 1818.
Several leaves have been torn out at both ends of the volume and many leaves are blank except for the year recorded upon them.
The beginnings of an index to the original account book, the rest of which has evidently been torn out, appear, inverted, on folio 1 (i.e. what was originally the back of the volume).
Volume used as an account book, 1819-1822, by William Patrick, a merchant in India, and in the early 20th century by David Rattray, a joiner and builder in Lochore, for calculations and working notes., 1819-1822, 1904-1922, undated.
The accounts of William Patrick are for shipping goods to Europe, China, Saint Petersburg and Smyrna. There are also lists of sailing charges and provisions.
