Christopher K Mylne wrote many articles for various publications over the years. His writing usually focussed on Scottish wildlife and the typescripts and publications here reflect that focus.

This collection dates mainly from after 1988, when John McGrath and Elizabeth MacLennan resigned from the company which they had established, with David MacLennan, in 1973. Following the funding crisis in 2006, the company had to leave its base in the STUC building in Glasgow, and it was at this point that much of the material in this accession was presented to the National Library of Scotland.

Poetry readings and lectures of Robert Garioch Sutherland., 1949-1981, undated.
Robert Sutherland (1909-1981) who wrote under the name 'Robert Garioch', was educated in Edinburgh and, after the war of 1939-1945 when he was a prisoner in Italy and Germany, became a schoolteacher in Kent. He returned to Edinburgh in 1959, where he taught and worked for the School of Scottish Studies in the University.
Portfolio, containing chiefly extracts and notes taken from the letters of John Leyden, collected by the Reverend James Morton., 1797-1811, undated.
