Allan George Nicholson, his wife Peggie, and their son Michael, travelled by road from Cresham in Buckinghamshire to London where they took the Car Sleeper train to Perth. From there they toured Scotland for over weeks covering covering more than a thousand miles in a circular route to Scourie in the north, returning via the Great Glen and Oban. Places visited include Balmoral Castle, Portsoy, Culloden, Inverness, Lairg, Scourie, Lochinver, Oban, Fingal`s Cave, Iona and Glencoe. ...
