William Rose holds that the manuscript is in the hand of James Justice, a monk of Pluscarden (folio 26 verso). The leaves are partly destroyed. The date ‘millesimo quingentesimo qua[dragesimo] quinto’ occurs on folio 17.

(iii) Adv.MSS.35.3.3, 35.3.5, 35.3.8: 1740-1744.
