The contents are as follows. (i) Dramatised biographies of Pandita Ramabai (folio 1) and Theodore Pennell (folio 14), broadcast on the children's radio programme 'Pioneers for the Kingdom', 1937. 'Pandita Ramabai' has numerous manuscripts corrections. (ii) 'The Thought-Recorder', a play for television, undated (folio 39). It was originally written under the pseudonym 'Juniper Struan'.

Scope and Contents From the Fonds:

Joe Corrie worked as a miner in Fife and Ayrshire, and many of his plays and stories are set in mining communities. He was a prolific writer who published a number of plays, several collections of poetry, and two novels, as well as numerous stories and articles in newspapers. Many of his plays were popular with amateur dramatic groups.
