The music consists of the follows.

(i) A scherzo movement entitled "'Triumph over fate', an epilogue to the unfinished symphony" [of Schubert] (folio 1). An amendment to the score is pasted to folio 7.

(ii) “Darkies' frolics”, full score (folio 13) and piano reduction (folio 21). An amendment to the score, pasted to folio 19, has been cut out of folio 20.

(iii) An intermezzo entitled 'Eventide', full score (folio 23) and piano reduction (folio 39). A leaf has been cut or torn out between folios 42 and 43.

(iv) 'On the Prom', piano reduction (folio 44), and parts for strings and wind (folio 46).

(v) An untitled serenade, full score (folio 60) and piano reduction (folio 66).
