    Scrapbook relating to Robert Mossman and the Scottish National Antarctic Expedition, 1902-1905. The scrapbook includes: Mossman`s commission as 2nd Lieutenant in the 1st Edinburgh City Volunteer Artillery, 1893; 17 letters, 1902-1905, of Mossman to his father and `Isabella`, concerning his journey and experiences on board ship, destinations on his journey including Kngstown in Ireland, Madeira, the Cape Verde Islands, Port Stanley, the South Orkneys and Buenos Aires; a letter of William Speirs Bruce to Mossman`s father;

    photographs at Port Stanley and on board the expedition ship the `Scotia`; press cuttings, menu cards, wedding order of service, and offprints relating to the expedition.
