The manuscript is labelled ‘RA, XI, XIII’.

The contents are as follows: (i) Themes to be discussed by Thomas Ruddiman, dated Kal. Mai. MDCXC; and verses. (Folio 1.) (ii) 'Aenigmata et versus hinc inde collecta', written by Ruddiman, with Greek alphabets added. As well as Ruddiman's signatures there is a note 'James Rudiman aught this book' on folio 24. Scope and Contents Mackintosh MacKay was a native of the Reay Country, the son of Captain Alexander MacKay of Duard Beg. The collection consists of manuscripts on a wide variety of subjects, many copied from manuscript or printed works, and chiefly dating from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.
