Sketchbook of Lucinda Mackay., May- July 1981
Small hardback sketchbook containing 32 pages of drawings. Mediums used include ink, pencil, and crayon. A further 2 pages contain manuscript notes by the artist on the process of preparing stoneware clay, while 38 pages remain unused. Drawing subject matter includes character studies primarily. Two images are dated. Only two are titled as follows 'Café - Camden Town' [Woman, London] and 'Pub - Camden Town 25 July 1981' [Man, London].

The majority of images are undated and untitled, but appear to be located in London. Subject matter includes character studies; Easter Sunday 1985; cityscapes in central London, including Embankment, Charing Cross, the Strand, and Fleet Street.

Sketchbook of watercolour and pencil sketches by John Francis Campbell, some quite rough and incomplete, mainly of people and places he encountered on a tour in Norway in August and September 1857, concentrating on the areas around the Hardanger and Sogne fjords., 1857.
The volumes reflect, in his detailed descriptions, watercolours and sketches, Campbell’s interest in people, art, science and sport. In the later journals, his interest in geology and meteorology predominates, with particular emphasis on the effects of glaciation observed in various countries.
The sketches usually occur in chronological sequence with notes below each giving the date, place and other additional information.
